Biography
Rosa de Valme García, born in 1994, started playing the cello at the age of eight in Sevilla, Spain.
Cellist in Sevilla, finished her music degree (LOE) in the Conservatoire Manuel Castillo in Seville, Spain, in 2017. Her current cello professor Nonna Natsvlishvili (cellist in Royal Symphony of Seville, and ex sub-principal cellist in the Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra), since 2015.

Orchestral experience
Full member of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO) since 2019, with conductors Vasily Petrenko, Stephan Denéve, Pablo Heras-Casado or David Zinman, and soloists as Alban Gerhard, Kristine Opolais or Nicolas Altstaedt.
Leader and tutor of the cello section in the Orchestre National des Jeunes du Luxembourg (ONJ.LU) during the Autumn Tour 2021 in Luxembourg.
Collaborations with severals orchestras in Spain: with OCG Orquesta Ciudad de Granada, OCAL Orquesta Ciudad de Almería, and OFGC Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria.
Full member of the Andalucía Youth Orchestra (OJA) from 2016 o 2018. Conductors John Axelrod, Manuel Hernández Silva, Alejandro Posada, Pedro Halffter, Pablo González.
Collaborator of the Chamber Orchestra of the Barenboim-Said Foundation in Seville, Spain. Conductor Jerome Ireland. And attended the 1st Orchestral Training Course with the conductor Michael Thomas, in June 2013.
Chamber music
Rosa Garcia offered concerts as soloist with the pianist Natalia Kuchaeva in the Ateneo of Sevilla, in February and December 2016.
In November 2018 started with Parola Piano Trío, tutored by Nonna Natsvlishvili (former ex student of legendary V. A. Belinsky, cellist and founding member of Borodin Quartet). They performed in La Casa de los Pianistas, and also in the San Telmo Palace in Seville in the Barenboim-Said Foundation concerts.
She received chamber music advices in the International Music School of the Foundation "Princesa de Asturias" Summer Courses with the violist Igor Sulyga (ex violist in the Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra). Summer 2016 and 2017.
Currently, she eventually plays with Totem Ensemble string quintet in several concerts in Spain. Furthermore, she has a professional duet with the pianist Pepe Fernández, with whom has performed in Sevilla. She also cofounded Duo Euridice with the violinist Cristina Carrascal.
Rosa and Pepe Fernández, with their Dúo Portamento have played in the Teatro de la Maestranza last March with their concert "Myrten: canciones de amor"
Vocational training
Rosa Garcia had masterclasses in the Summer Course in the Garda Lake Music Academy Master in Desenzano del Garda with the cellist Asier Polo. Summer 2018.
Furthermore, she attended the International Music School of the Foundation "Princesa de Asturias" Summer Courses in Oviedo, with the cellist Viguen Sarkíssov (ex cellist in the Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra). Summer 2016 and 2017. She also received masterclasses from Suzana Stefanovic in the Conservatoire Manuel Castillo in Seville, Spain. March 2014.
During her experience as member of the EUYO, she had tutors as Gregor Horsch (Concertgebow Orchestra from Amsterdam) or Richard Lester (Chamber Orchestra of Europe).
Rosa has played with soloists as Placido Domingo, José Valencia, Pablo López.
